You want me to eat what?

This bleme comes via [info]filkertom. Like him, I was a picky eater when I was younger. How picky? I wouldn't even eat pizza in elementary school! I did eventually start trying new foods, but I didn't really start branching out until college.

The Omnivore's Hundred is a list of foods the gastronomic Andrew Wheeler thinks everyone should try at least once in their lives.

Internet Culture IQ

bedroom toys

It's kind of scary that I got the exact same score as [info]dvandom, from whom I got this bleme. I started off strong, but quickly found myself going "huh?" and having to guess at answers.

Dumb Test

How smart are you?
Am-I-Dumb.com - Intelligence Test

As seen on [info]dvandom's LJ. But I'm smarter because I:

A) took the test a second time to achieve a perfect score
B) hacked the obvious graphic name in their HTML code
C) didn't provide them a valid e-mail address
D) skipped the T-Mobile offer at the end

(Choose only one.)

Weirdness bleme

Well, I'm not unique, but at least I'm very interesting.

So, 1boringperson, your LiveJournal reveals...

You are... 0% unique and 8% herdlike (partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy comics). When it comes to friends you are lonely. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are keen to please. Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is conventional.

Your overall weirdness is: 33

(The average level of weirdness is: 28.
You are weirder than 72% of other LJers.)

Chinese Zodiac bleme

Doing my part to spread [info]dvandom's bleme.

1. Go to Wikipedia's page on the Chinese Zodiac.
2. Find your zodiac animal. Paste in the positive and negative attributes, boldfacing the ones you think apply to you.
3. Pick a random zodiac animal (what, you don't have a 12-sided die?), and repeat.
4. Post all of this to your LJ.

I'm a Dog
Positive: Loyal, modest, dependable, just, patient, honest, well-meaning, caring
Negative: Nervous, quick-temper, judgmental, gullible, self-righteous, pessimistic, petty, accusing

Random animal - Ox
Positive: Responsible, dependable, honest, caring, honourable, industrious, practical, patient
Negative: Petty, inflexible, possessive, stubborn, critical, intolerant, materialistic, eccentric

Short form iTunes bleme

At the time [info]dvandom posted this, I had just gotten my iPod (as a present), so I waited until I'd had it a while to do this.

How many songs? 1545 (not all are songs)

Book Bleme

Saw this through a friend's Friends link.

* 13"-26" * Financing Available * Mounting and Balancing

Um, that's from the phone book. I don't think that counts. How about this:

"Checkboxes are easy to use, but sometimes a single choice isn't enough."

What is this? See the bleme instructions behind the cut. )

I don't know why I do these things.

First entry: "Oldies" bleme

Hadn't planned on posting much, if at all, but I discovered Dave Van Domelen has a LiveJournal account ([info]dvandom) and saw this in his recent entries. I take it "bleme" is short for "blog meme"? Why am I asking? It's not like there's anyone reading this.

Go to Music Outfitters and enter your year of birth to find the list of top 100 songs from that year. Bold entries are songs the blogger likes; asterisked entries are ones the blogger knows he/she has heard and doesn't like.

Top Hits of 19XX )

I spent most of the list going, "what?" I'd probably recognize a lot more if I actually heard them instead of just reading the titles. Now if this was the list of the 1984 top 100, I'd know them all and probably like 99% of them.
